A Good Samaritan called the STOP 24/7 Recovery Hotline to report he found a STOP-tagged laptop in his back yard, apparently abandoned by a thief who saw the STOP Security Plate affixed to the lid. The Good Samaritan provided the STOP ID Number, which enabled STOP to identify the registered owner, a large national healthcare provider. STOP notified the administrator at the firm, and recovery process was underway within thirty minutes of the call to STOP!
