A STOP-tagged laptop registered to an Irvine, California-based firm was lost by the user while traveling on a Delta Airlines flight. It was turned over to a Delta Lost & Found agent in Alabama, who contacted STOP through our live-chat platform. STOP quickly identified the registered owner by the STOP Security Plate ID Number, printed on the face of the Plate, which was provided by the Delta agent. STOP contacted the administrator at the owner company and recovery process is underway.

He provided the STOP ID Number that is printed on the Security Plate, enabling STOP to quickly identify the owner, a San Diego-based municipal agency. STOP notified the administrative team and recovery is underway.
