Good Samaritan and CEO of a contracting company called STOP’s 24/7 Recovery Hotline to report that one of his employees found a STOP-tagged device in a storage bin. It was apparently forgotten by an employee of the registered owner company. STOP reached out to the administrators of the STOP Security Plates program at the owner company, and recovery process is underway.

STOP obtained the STOP ID Number on the plate and reported it to the security director of the company. Recovery process is underway.

STOP reached out to the administrator, recovery process is underway.

Trooper called STOP again to confirm that the device in suspect's possession was indeed the property of the registered owner. Case closed.

STOP identified the owner, a large coporate enterprise, by the unique STOP ID Number provided by the FedEx agent. STOP notified the security team at the enterprise, and recovery process is underway.

Caller provided the unique STOP ID Number printed on the STOP Security Plate, which enabled STOP to quickly identify the registered owner, a university based in Missouri. STOP notified the admin at the university and recovery process is underway.

It’s possible it was lost by the owner/user, or perhaps stolen and then abandoned by the thief after the STOP Security Plate became visible. Caller provided the unique STOP ID printed on our Security Plate, enabling STOP to quickly identify the registered owner, a large school district. STOP notified the adminstrator of the STOP program, and recovery process is underway.
